The wait is over. We are expanding the YO ecosystem to give you more access and less friction. Today, we are launching native Ethereum deposits, starting with yoETH.

Previously, users holding assets on Ethereum had to bridge their funds to Base to enter a YO vault. With this update, we are removing that barrier. You can now deposit WETH into the yoETH vault directly on Ethereum and receive your yoETH tokens on the same chain.

While we are kicking this off with yoETH, native Ethereum deposits for yoUSD, yoBTC, and yoEUR are coming soon.

Why Deposit on Ethereum?

• No Bridging Required: Keep your liquidity on Ethereum. You no longer need to bridge your underlying assets to Base to earn yield.
• Unified Yield: Whether you deposit on Ethereum or Base, you earn the exact same yield. Your yoTokens are backed by the same underlying strategy and assets regardless of the chain.

How It Works

1. Connect: Head to app.yo.xyz and switch your network to Ethereum.
2. Select: Click on Deposit and choose yoETH (Ethereum).
3. Deposit: Under "Deposit," you will see your available WETH balance on Ethereum. Enter the amount and confirm.
4. Receive: You will receive yoETH directly in your Ethereum wallet.

Important Considerations

Please keep the following in mind when depositing:

• Chain-Specific Redemption: If you deposit on Ethereum, you must redeem on Ethereum. If you hold the same yoToken on multiple chains, you will need to request one redemption per chain.
• Do Not Bridge yoTokens: Please do not use third-party bridges to move yoTokens between chains. This is not supported and could lead to a loss of funds.
• Limited Utility: DeFi activities for yoTokens are currently limited to Base; Ethereum support is strictly for holding and earning yield.
