FAQs
- Do I need to sign up to participate?
Simply complete the three qualifying activities to participate. No further action is required.
- Is the prize actual gold?
Yes! yoGOLD is backed 1:1 by XAUT, which tokenizes actual gold ounces.
- How will the winner be selected?
This gets technical, but in short:
- A random number will be generated using the block hash of the first block produced on the Ethereum chain after the campaign ends on December 17, 2025 1pm ET/6pm UTC.
- This number is reproducible and verifiable.
- All addresses with their qualifying entries will be tallied in a table, sorted by the timestamp of their first qualifying entry.
- The address with a qualifying entry number equal to the random number will be the winner of the draw.
- Three independent draws will determine the three winners, with no chance of repeating a winner.

- End: December 17, 2025 – 1:00 PM ET
Only the qualifying activities completed within this period count toward entries.
6. Winner Selection
Winners will be selected using a verifiable on-chain randomness method. Each eligible wallet receives a number of entries equal to the daily activity-based entries it has earned during the Campaign Period
After the Sweepstakes ends, a random seed is generated from the blockhash of the first Ethereum block produced after the end time. This blockhash is public, immutable, and outside of YO Foundation’s control.
Using this seed, a deterministic selection process is used to choose the winners. All entries are arranged in a cumulative list, and the random seed is used to generate an index corresponding to a specific entry. Once a winner is selected, their entries are removed, and the process is repeated for the remaining prizes to ensure each draw is independent.
The winning wallets will be announced by address only. Winners may be required to verify ownership by signing a message from the selected wallet.
7. Prize
The Sweepstakes will award $500 USD worth of yoGOLD vault shares in total. Three winners will be selected: the first-place winner will receive approximately $250 USD in yoGOLD, the second-place winner approximately $150 USD, and the third-place winner approximately $100 USD, based on the yoGOLD share price at the time of distribution.
Prizes will be sent on-chain to the winning wallet addresses. Winners may be required to verify wallet ownership by signing a message. YO Foundation is not responsible for a winner’s inability to receive or retain the prize, including issues such as lost private keys, compromised wallets, or misconfigured wallet software.
Prizes cannot be exchanged, transferred, or redeemed for cash, and YO Foundation’s responsibility is limited to delivering the designated yoGOLD shares to the winning wallets.
8. Limitations of Liability
YO Foundation is not responsible for any losses, delays, errors, or interruptions arising from the use of blockchain networks or related infrastructure. This includes, but is not limited to, network congestion, smart contract behavior, gas fees, failed or delayed transactions, MEV effects, incorrect wallet configuration, lost private keys, compromised wallets, or any technical issues beyond YO Foundation’s control.
YO Foundation does not guarantee the performance, value, or availability of the yoGOLD vault. Participation in the Sweepstakes does not entitle participants to returns beyond the vault’s standard APY, and the Sweepstakes does not constitute investment advice or a recommendation to acquire any asset.
Participants are solely responsible for any taxes, reporting obligations, or tax liabilities arising from receiving or claiming a prize, and YO Foundation is not liable for any such obligations.
YO Foundation may modify, pause, or cancel the Sweepstakes at any time in response to technical, regulatory, or security considerations. Participants assume all risks associated with their use of self-custody wallets and blockchain networks.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not participate in the Sweepstakes.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Panama.
Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the competent courts of Panama, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
10. Acceptance of Terms
By participating, you acknowledge that entries are earned through the free activities listed above and not through purchase or payment.
By participating, you acknowledge and agree that participation is determined solely by on-chain wallet activity, that YO Foundation cannot verify jurisdiction, and that you are legally permitted to participate.
Appendix: Verifiable Random Selection
- Randomness Source
The random seed used to pick winners is derived from the blockhash of the first Ethereum block produced after the sweepstakes ends. This blockhash is public, immutable, and cannot be influenced by anyone.
- Seed Generation
Once the block is published, the seed is computed as:
seed = uint256(keccak256(blockhash(blockNumber)))- Weighted Entry Mapping
YO will publish the final entries table. Using cumulative sums, a Cumulative Distribution Array (CDA) is built mapping every integer in the range [1 ... total_entries] to a specific wallet. Wallets will be sorted in ascending order according to the timestamp of their first transaction during the campaign period.
- Winner Index Calculation
For each of the three winners, a deterministic random index is computed as:
randomIndex = (uint256(keccak256(abi.encode(seed, drawNumber))) % total_entries) + 1where drawNumber ∈ {1, 2, 3}. This guarantees each draw is independent and reproducible.
- Winner Identification
Each randomIndex corresponds to a wallet via the CDA. After selecting a winner, their entries are removed and the CDA recomputed for the next draw.
- Public Verifiability
Anyone can independently:
- Query the designated blockhash
- Recompute the seed
- Recompute all random indices
- Rebuild the CDA from the published entries
- Verify each winning wallet
